Nothing is impossible for Those who believe in God!

Yes, my dear friends, nothing is impossible for those who believe in God. So, let us all shout to the Lord –
‘I Believe, I Believe, I Believe in You’. Yes, Our Lord Jesus Christ is worthy of our praise. There is no One Like our God. He alone is worthy! He is Our King!
Jesus Christ, the name above all names. Yes, the Love of Our Lord Jesus Christ is Greater than any other love. May the Name of Christ Jesus be lifted up.Let us all bow down and adore Our Lord and God. May we give Him all glory – May everything that we think, say and do give Him all the Glory.

Let us during this Lenten Season have our gaze on Christ Jesus. He suffered and died for each one of us. This afternoon I went to a friend’s house and she was building an additional garage, so she took me and showed me around the new building. We then walked into the garden and there was a large thorny bush which was bearing fruit. So,we were plucking the fruit and thorns
pierced my fingers so many times and it really did hurt.
During the Way of the Cross I was feeling the thorns piercing my fingers and I could imagine the excruciating that Christ felt when He was tortured and crown with thorns. If we keep the Suffering Christ in our minds during this Lent, we will surely be strong and brave to overcome all the odds and problems that come our way. This would strengthen us to be over-
comers and Nothing would be impossible for those who believe in a God – Our Lord Jesus Christ, who was so willing to empty himself and die for each one of us. Through His death He has taught us to be overcomers. When we believe in Him, impossible things become possible because of our faith in Him.

We must start declaring that the Gracious Hand of God will save us. We must all the time brag on God’s favour, then the more we will receive God’s favour. God’s gracious hand is on each one of us. We always think that other people have more talent, more money, more beauty, more everything and we become despondent. Even if people are against us and if they are trying to push us down, we must believe that God’s gracious hand is on us. If we believe thus, we are then Overcomers and we can very confidently say that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN GOD!

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful – Commentary

Quote:Luke 6:36-38 – 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
Judging Others
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Unquote.

To be merciful is to forgive – to withold punishment that a person deserves. We are all called to forgive those who have wronged us. No matter what the crime is, we are all called to love one another and to forgive. When we forgive, we must forget. To the person who has wronged us, we must behave in such a manner as if nothing went wrong between us. To forget means ‘not to remember’. So when we do not remember the wrongs that people have committed against us – then that means that things are all back to normal as it was before the wrong was committed. It is very important that we blot out all the hurts and wrongs committed against us by other people and treat people with love and respect.

When we behave thus, Our Father in Heaven will also forgive us our sins and he also will blot out our wrong doings. It is very important that we forgive. When we hold grudges, we are the ones who will be unhappy. But when we forgive, we feel light and happy in our hearts but if we hold grudges and we keep on and on thinking about the hurts people have caused us, then we are the people who would feel unhappy and miserable.

Many of us put ourselves in the place of God and we become very judgemental with people, especially with those who have hurt us. We are called not do condemn another person and if we get into the habit of always finding excuses for people and not condemning them, then we will be treated in the same manner.

We are called to give generously to others for the measure that we give, will be the measure that will be given to us. We will be given much more than what we have given. It will be given till it is all overflowing all around us. There will be so much more given to us.

Today, we are being challenged. Are we ready to take up the challenge? Well, let us get down on our knees and pray for God to give us the grace to live and have all the qualities mentioned above.

Be Merciful – Be Forgiving – Do not condemn – Do not Judge and be Generous!

Matthew 7 :7 – 12 – Commentary

Matthew 7:7-12
New International Version (NIV)
Ask, Seek, Knock
Quote : 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Unquote.

Verses 7 and 8 are very powerful verses. These are very definite statements. It says Ask and you WILL receive, the one who seeks FINDS and to the one who knocks, the door WILL be opened. The verses do not say MAYBE – it says WILL – very definite words. What do these verses say to me. It says do not have any doubt in your heart.
A person must completely believe – must have total faith – absolute faith.

In verses 9, 10 and 11 continues to emphasise that we who are evil know how to give good things to our children. Would any of us give our children a stone for a meal when he/she is hungry or would we give our children a snake instead of a fish which is food. I love my children very much and I always gave them the best food that I could afford. In fact it always gave me great joy to see my children eat the food that I place on their plate. So, the next question is – Am I perfect? Well, no, I am not perfect. Only God is perfect. So, God being perfect would always give us the very best. But we must believe in Him totally and completely with no doubt whatsoever.

Well, you might say that it is easy for me to say so. Well, I have experienced God’s great love for me. I can speak for myself. This is my experience. My personal experience. The times when I doubted, I did not get what I prayed for spot on. I had to wait and wait to receive Great and Mighty blessings from God. Why? because I did not have total and complete faith. There was always an element of doubt. I knew that God loved me but to what extent, I did not know because I did not experience it. But God in His love and mercy taught me over the years through difficulties and struggles and achievements that He would give me anything that I asked for and believed in. When we pray according to His Holy Will and for His greater Glory, He will always answer our prayer. He will always give us a quality answer.

To have God by my side gives me the greatest joy and nothing in this world could ever compensate that. No one in this world could ever replace my God.

So my dear people, whenever you pray, believe that God loves you and that He WILL answer every prayer that you have prayed and He WILL always give you a QUALITY ANSWER.

I live one day at a time and all I ask Christ Jesus is to give me grace to live that one day to my fullest. To enjoy every moment of my day and ofcourse to do God’s Holy Will. For me, doing God’s Holy WILL gives me the Greatest Joy and I can never ever be separated from Him. It is very scary to be separated from Him. The very thought of being separated from Him gives me the shivers. To be in His presence always makes me feel very safe. My Heavenly Father knows how to bless me and my family. He always provides for our needs and when He provides Our Wants, it is then a MIRACLE which happens everyday.

There was a time in my life when I thought I knew God but I really did not know Him. It was then that I asked Him as to why did He choose me to suffer and I was very upset with Him. Then over the years, He taught me and He cleansed me. He stripped away my sin, my anger, my disappoints, my pride and He removed the scales from my eyes and He kept drawing me closer and closer to Him. Any human being who says, ‘I have no sin’ is a lier. Every human being has sinned and has fallen short of the Glory of God.

Now that I am so close to Christ Jesus, I always ask Him as to why He chose to bless me. He then says to me. Do you remember the time when you asked me as to why I chose you to suffer? Well, now I have chosen to bless you. Christ Jesus then asked me if I was happy to be chosen to be blessed. I then said, ‘Yes Lord, it is very sweet to be blessed by you.’

My dear friends, believe me God is Good. He is always Good and He has always been Good. The problem is us. We must pray for faith. We must ask God to increase our faith. We must pray and ask God to atleast give us faith as big as a grain of a mustard seed, so when we say to the mountain (our troubles, trails and tribulations) move, it WILL move.

The most important verse is: 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. If you want to be treated well, then treat others well. If you want people to be kind and loving to you, then treat people with kindness and love. So, if you want people to treat you will honour and dignity, then treat others with honour and dignity. This is the law of nature. What we do unto others, would be done unto ourselves.

So, please get down on your knees and pray for the gift of faith and when you pray believe – it WILL surely be given to you.

BELIEVE IN CHRIST JESUS! TRUST IN HIM AND HE WILL NEVER FAIL YOU! GOD REJOICES IN BLESSING HIS PEOPLE!

Sadness should not have a place in our lives.

My dear people, sadness should not have a place in our lives. You might ask me why am I speaking thus. Is it that I am so happy and that I do not experience sadness in my life? Well, I must say that every human being does experience sadness ever so often because of people, situations, mishaps in life etc. Sometimes, people allow themselves to drown in their sorrows and sadness.

Sadness comes knocking on the door of our lives ever so often but we should not give it a place where it can dwell. I am speaking through experience. We should get down on our knees and pray. What is prayer? Prayer is communicating with the Most High God. Having a conversation with Him. We should take all our worries and concerns to Him. Have a chat with Him through prayer and meditation and be sure that Christ Jesus would tell us to leave our burdens and sorrows at His feet and He would give us a lot peace, consolation and he would place in our hearts confidence and joy. If somebody does hurt us, in prayer we should forgive them and at the first opportunity make peace with them. If it is possible, we should tell them that we love them with the love of Christ Jesus. Forgiveness is the key to our own happiness. We should develop a practice to constantly forgive those who hurt or injure us but yes, sometimes, we do fail but when we take it to the Lord in prayer, He will give us the grace to forgive.

To forgive is very sweet and the joy that a person feels deep down in their hearts is inexpressable. No amount of words can express the joy and happiness that a person feels by forgiving another person. When we fail to forgive a person who has hurt us, we allow them to rob us of our joy and happiness and also if we hold any grudge or enemity against another, then God will also not forgive us. As much as we love another person, God will love us and as much as we forgive another person, God will forgive us.

Let us make it a point during this day to pray for those who have hurt us and I am sure that maybe in some way we might have hurt them without realising it. So let us in our hearts ask Christ Jesus to forgive us and if we get an opportunity to ask those who have hurt us in one way or another as to the reason why they acted thus. From then on we should make every effort to be thoughtful and extra kind to these particular people. I sometimes think that we take those who love us for granted. We should correct this attitude. From now on we should show extra love and concern for those who love us. I assure you that if we act thus, we would be the happiest people on earth and we would be making those who love us, also the happiest people on earth.
So sadness will go out the window and Joy, Peace and Happiness would enter our doorway and live with us forever!

The closer we go to Christ, the happier and peaceful we become. So, we must strive to go closer and closer to Christ. Now, how is it possible for us to draw closer to Christ. We could do so by communicating to Christ Jesus in prayer constantly. By praying ejaculations, such as JESUS, I LOVE YOU. JESUS, I NEED YOU. JESUS BE EVER AT MY SIDE. JESUS, YOU ARE MY JOY AND HAPPINESS, ALWAYS. JESUS, YOU ARE MY HEALER. JESUS, YOU ARE MY ROCK AND MY SALVATION!

When we pray constantly and stay close to Christ, we would be the happiest people living on this earth and we should take all those around us to experience this great joy and happiness. Happiness is contagious. So stay close to those who pray and make it a practice to pray constantly yourselves and be a blessing to ourselves and to those around us.

“Behold the One beholding you and smiling. God is just too busy loving us to have any time left for disappoint-
ment. It is truly hard for us to see the truth that disapproval doesn’t seem to be part of God’s DNA. ‘Take today’s Gospel to heart: ‘I was hungry and you gave me food.’

The same Spirit that Jesus experienced as love and acceptance now drives him into the wilderness; into a no-man’s0land where Satan rules. It’s the first battle of many with the forces that bring us down. At last God is acting in our lives this Lent. ‘The Kingdom of God is close at hand.’
