Reaching out to Catholic/Christians Individuals/Families

Yes, Lord, remember Your People!

Yes, Lord, we your people surrender ourselves to you.  We surrender all that we have and all that we are.   We come to you O Lord in our nothingness and we know and believe Lord that you are our everything and with you all things are possible.  We come to you Lord for your Love and Protection.  Without You we are nothing.  We give you all our plans.  If it is your Holy Will, then you help us to accomplish our plans because you are very much in our plan.  Whatever, we plan O Lord, we only do it to promote you and to make you known and loved by all. We Love You O Lord with every fibre of our being.  Thank Lord Jesus Christ for loving us.

I am a Friend of God!

Isn’t it awesome to be a Friend of God!  God is the highest power.  He is the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega and He is calling each one of us today and saying : I AM YOUR FRIEND.  So let us rejoice and be glad.  Let us say, THANK YOU LORD for being my friend.

Our Mission today – Make others happy!

I went for Mass this morning and the homily that Fr Martin did give was very interesting.  He touched on the subject about concentrating on making others happy.  He said, let us not worry too much about making ourselves happy.

So I decided to share this video.  I would like to add here that it is important for us always to have a smile that we could share for it does not cost us to SMILE at others.  To give someone a smile, give them a kind and encouraging word, an embrace if they need one would definitely not cost us anything.  It is FREE TO GIVE and if we could make others happy – Why not!  My experience is that when I make others happy, then it surely proves that I am happy and then because I am happy, I could share that happiness with others.  We should be there for others and it is important for us to let them know that we will always be there for them.

Another important point – if we are there for others, then you can be sure that they will be there for you and even if they are not or unable to be there for us, it still does not matter.  What matters is THAT WE ARE THERE FOR OTHERS and that their happiness  MATTERS TO US.

So, let this MISSION be ours today – TO MAKE ANOTHER HUMAN BEING HAPPY.  Wow! this makes me happy.  When we decide to make others happy, we can be sure that we will not work at MAKING OTHER UNHAPPY!

So, let us go forth and produce HAPPINESS! Wow! Such happiness!

GIVE SOMEONE A SMILE TO BRIGHTEN THEIR LIFE AND YOURS AS WELL!

All these days, I was talking to happy people – to people who have plenty of everything.  Now I am talking to the people who consider themselves less fortunate,  I do have a WORD OF ADVICE for you.

You might think that you do not have something to share but give away free from what you do have.  Give to those who pass you by – give to them a SMILE which is FREE OF COST.  If you are homeless but you know that you are healthy.  All you need is a shower everyday and food.  If you are happy with this, then go around and spread happiness – Give people a SMILE. There are so many wealthy people who are not happy one way or another.  So let those of us who have less, give to others the little that we have.

If you are sick, have less money, have problems that you are not able to solve.  It does not make.  Try putting your problems up on a shelf for a while and focus on making those around you happy.

I challenge you to do so.  Believe me, it is easy!

GIVE SOME ONE A SMILE TO BRIGHTEN THEIR LIFE AND BELIEVE ME YOUR SMILE WILL BRIGHTEN YOUR LIFE AS WELL!!

Have Faith – Christmas Season – Scripture

This is a season where we are waiting for Baby Jesus to enter our hearts, our homes, our families, our neighbourhood, our parishes, our communities. our state, our country and the entire world.  How can He do that?  When we keep our hearts opened to the Word of God, Listen to Him speak in the silence of our hearts, when we look around and visit the Nativity Scenes, Hear and participate in singing Carols, Go shopping for others to make them happy, Visit the poor and the sick, the homeless, the lonely and more importantly prepare our hearts to receive Him in Holy Communion on Christmas Day. Hence, we are all called to approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation, especially if we have not approached the Sacrament for a very, very long time.
So let us prepare our hearts to receive Baby Jesus this Christmas and more importantly, let us make our hearts so beautiful to present it to Baby Jesus as HIS GIFT.

Luke 1:30-31 And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
Isaiah 52:7-9 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” 8Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes. 9 Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
Isaiah 11:1 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.

No, to Violence in the Family

My dear Readers and Bloggers, it makes me happy to see many of you read my blog.  If you think that others would benefit from the reading the same, then please do share.

This afternoon, I was listening to the radio and the topic was – ‘No, to Violence in the Family.’  The Family is supposed to be a Haven for all its members and when a family becomes Hell to its members, then it should be a No, No.

Marriage is not between two people, it is between three – God is the First person and the the Bride and Bridegroom.  The Holy Spirit is the UNITING FACTOR.   Without the Holy Spirit, Marriages become a burden and they break.  So, it is vital for us to invite the Holy Spirit into our Marriage.

Why do couples get married?  Why do couples co-habitate?  This is something that all couples should dwell on.  Spend some time and think……  Every individual is seeking peace and when individuals get married, they surrender themselves and their independence to the other.  What do you think they are saying to each other before they get married – “I give myself to you.  I trust that you will love me and take care of me forever.’  But somewhere along the way, some couples forget the love that they had for each other, when difficulties and problems come knocking on their door.  Life is not meant to be easy. Difficulties and Problems are part and parcel of life.  What each married couple should remember is – that marriage is not for a day or two – it is for a life time.  It is a commitment.  Couples should remember that it is important to put in a lot of effort into their marriage and to work towards PEACE AND HARMONY.  UNITED WE STAND – DIVIDED WE FALL.  So, families – STAY UNITED!
