Matthew 19: 13 – 15 (Gospel)/Only a shadow of your love by Florence D’Costa

Children in the time of Jesus were considered to be the least, but Jesus welcomed little children and he said that it is to such as these the Kingdom of Heaven belongs.

Matthew 17:22-27 (Gospel 14 August, 2017)

Jesus Christ was on his way to Jerusalem to the other Mount – Mount Calvary. In Chapter 17 we see the Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Thabor and now he was journeying towards his death – towards Calvary and we know that he will rise again glorious on the third day. Thus he opened Heaven so that all those who choose to follow and believe in him will have eternal life.  Open your heart to Jesus Christ so that He could come in and change You.

Matthew 16: 24 – 28 – Gospel by Florence D’Costa

Let us follow Christ with joy in our hearts daily and let us pray to bring God’s Kingdom on earth even while we live – let us pray the Our Father (Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven) – It is important to pray that God would bring His kingdom, His values, His teachings into our lives, our homes, our communities, our parliament, our government etc….

Raise Jesus High for the World to See!

Yes, raise Jesus High for the world to see.  When we exalt Christ and put Him high on a pedestal, all eyes would be on Him because he would be there for all to see.  Some would look upon him out of curiosity, some with indifference, some may not even behold his face but there are many who would see him, would love him and many would go out to him for healing, comfort, restoration and many would be saved.   We, the baptised have received a MISSION when we became the Children of God.  So, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus – Lift Jesus Christ High for the world to see and more importantly let us remember that there was a time that someone in our lives did lift Jesus Christ high so that we were able to see Him so closely that He drew us unto Himself.  Amen! and Amen!

Suffering – Can you Pray?

To those who are sick in hospitals, nursing homes, sick at home and in agonising and excruciating pain.  Is it possible for such people to praise and thank God.  For those who are suffering terrible and excruciating pain, it is highly impossible to be praising God during that time but your love for God is above all others, then your soul is in the Presence of God.  That is what is important.  Loving God all the time even without saying One Word out loud. There is one thing I would like to tell you all.  When you are suffering excruciating pain, and you know that you love God above all else then, I am sure that God is very much aware of how much you love Him and YOU CAN BE SURE THAT YOU ARE IN HIS EMBRACE.  Suffering, Happy, Sad, Laughing, Dancing, Crying, Smiling – whatever you may be doing – if you love God above all else, you can be sure that you will be FOREVER IN HIS EMBRACE and that is the safest place to be at all times.

Take all your Problems to Jesus Christ for He is Our Friend and Saviour

Do you have something on your mind that is troubling you and are you feeling lost and forsaken or is something happening in your life that you cannot handle.   Be still for awhile and become aware that Jesus Christ, the Son of God is with you.  He loved you so much that He died for you.  He then rose from the dead, is now seated at the right hand of God and He is interceding for you to His Heavenly Father.  Leave your burden at His Feet and trust Him to take care of your problems.
